5 - Baroque at Easter: "The Album of Anna Madalena"- Anabel Sáez, Harpsichord

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Concert: "The Album of Anna Magdalena" on Saturday, April 5th at 8pm in the Cautivador Hall at AIS.

This second performance, specifically designed for an adult audience, will begin at 8:00 pm. The concert will be narrated in Spanish, with English translation available, and is expected to last approximately one hour. This performance will feature a broader selection of musical pieces, offering a more extensive exploration of the repertoire.

Concert Program:

The program will feature selected works from the renowned album of Johann Sebastian Bach’s second wife and most important copyist, Anna Magdalena, which contains a beautiful collection of music from the 18th century. The performance will combine an entertaining, educational presentation with anecdotes from the Bach family, intertwining the musical pieces with the stories behind them, offering the audience an engaging and enriching experience.

Anabel Sáez, a distinguished harpsichordist, will perform a selection from the album on her harpsichord and narrate the anecdotes in Spanish. Throughout the performance, she will engage with the audience, seamlessly blending music and storytelling to offer a captivating experience.
